  • New UI experience – No mention if thats coming down to the apple tv 2
  • 1080p HD output support
  • TV shows in the iTunes store support 1080p HD
  • TV shows available on iTunes the day after they air
  • iTunes Match supported
  • Photo stream support
  • Genius supported
  • $99 or £99. Available on March 14th

The new iPad

  • Retina Display – 2048 x 1536
  • 264 pixels per inch in this display
  • 5mp back pixel from the 4s – Auto-exposure, auto-focus, auto-face detection, great edge-to-edge detail, AF-lock, “It is just a blast to use.”
  • HD video recording now in 1080p resolution!
  • A5X chip. What’s the x for? Quad-core graphics.
  • 4x the performance
  • Built in Siri support.
    Correction it’s not Siri but voice diction instead.  Wonder if it still has the same 15 second limit that Siri has?
  • HSPA+ for up to 21Mbps dual-carrier HSDPA for up to 42Mbps.
  • LTE for max of 72Mbps
    Pretty useless for those in the UK as we are miles away from getting LTE
  • 10 hours of battery life, and 4G is 9 hours.
  • 9.4mm and light at 1.5 pounds
    The iPad2 was is 8.8mm high and 1.33 pounds

New Software for the iPad

  • Autodesk comes to the Ipad
  • Updates to Garage Band
  • New iMovie – with outlining and storyboarding
  • iPhoto for iPad – effects, editing, photo-beaming (from device to device), and new photo journals.
  • iWork Updated
    iWork apps, including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, have all been updated to take advantage of the new iPad’s high-res display, and will continue to sell for $10 each with free updates.
